OnField brings together Nebraska Irrigation’s decades of experience in center pivot controls with OnFarmData’s proven experience in remote monitoring and control. The goal from the beginning was straightforward: build a system that is simple to install, simple to use, reliable in the field, and practical for growers who want to add modern monitoring and control to their existing irrigation equipment.
Built on Irrigation Experience
Nebraska Irrigation has been working with center pivot irrigation controls for more than 50 years. Our experience includes main control panels, tower boxes, guidance systems, collector rings, programmable pivot controls, and telemetry products. As a UL panel shop, we have spent decades building, servicing, and supporting the electrical controls that keep irrigation systems running.
That experience gives us a practical understanding of what works in the field—and what growers, dealers, and service technicians need from a control system.

Developed Together
Over roughly a year of development and field work, the two teams worked together to create OnField. We saw an opportunity to make remote irrigation monitoring and control less complicated, particularly for growers who want to update existing pivots without replacing an entire control system.
OnField was developed around a few basic ideas: broad compatibility with existing irrigation equipment, straightforward installation, an easy-to-use management portal, and dependable monitoring and control. The platform is built on current technology from the ground up while drawing on years of proven field experience.
Fertigation was also part of the development direction from the beginning, recognizing the growing need to manage fertilizer and water more efficiently and help growers make better use of their inputs.

OnField is the result of two different areas of experience coming together: Nebraska Irrigation’s long history with center pivot controls and OnFarmData’s proven telemetry and remote-control technology. The result is a modern platform designed around something we believe matters in agriculture: keep it simple, make it reliable, and build it to work in the real world.
